The Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) is an international organization dedicated to researching and re-creating pre-17th-century European history. The Province of the Mists is a branch of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) located in the Principality of the Mists, in the Kingdom of the West. Mundanely we are in California and extend south into San Leandro and north into Western Contra Costa County to
the Carquinez Bridge, encompassing Alameda, Albany, Berkeley, Crockett, Hercules, Kensington, El Cerrito, Oakland, Pinole, Richmond, Rodeo, San Pablo, and most (if not all) of El Sobrante.Beaconsgate Boar Hunt and Feast

May 19, 2008. Garment finishing. Taught by Lady Sylvie la chardonniere. We'll discuss several options for finishing your basic tunic. Hems, collars and other finishing options.The Province meets at 7:00PM PST at 2322 Russell St. in Berkeley (near the Telegraph and Ashby intersection) on the third Tuesday (Business and Arts & Science meeting) of every month.
BART Fighter Practice
The Province is proud to host the oldest fighter practice of the whole Known World. Food and shopping in the vicinity. Since it's in a parking lot there's ample parking.Location: Big parking lot of the Rockridge BART station in Oakland, CA
